Marketing Specialist—full-time: Are you motivated, organized, and creative? We have a Marketing Specialist position that may be perfect for you! Applicants should exude a positive, resourceful attitude and be highly personable while possessing strong communication skills. Be prepared to work independently and in team settings. Essential functions include:

  • assist in the coordination and execution of the marketing plan, marketing campaigns and promotions, annual or special events, public relations, community service and social media
  • demonstrated experience of Adobe Creative Cloud design applications for creation of marketing materials
  • assist with website and social media planning, content creation and maintenance
  • maintain vendor relationships for the production of marketing materials and promotions/events

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years marketing and/or design experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Branch Service Leader—full-time: Do you enjoy working in a team environment with team members who are committed to providing outstanding member service? We're seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Branch Service Leader with a dynamic leadership style, positive attitude, and strong communication skills. Essential functions include:

  • Direct all aspects of the branch operation to ensure effective and efficient operations
  • Provide member service solutions including opening new memberships, products, and services
  • Facilitate member and community relations and promote business growth
  • Act as a lender with an assigned level of lending authority
  • Maintain a well-trained, highly motivated team by mentoring and coaching to support and develop team members
  • Perform other duties as needed

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory position within a financial institution

Required Skills:

  • Ability and desire to lead others
  • Ability to analyze and research information to determine a solution
  • Ability to represent Service 1 Federal Credit Union in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, electronic services, and loan products

  • Perform routine member transactions via telephone or in person, including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, loan advances, transfers, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and money orders
  • Greet members and answer phones
  • Assist members in opening new accounts, including sub-accounts, and perform the necessary file maintenance to these accounts
  • Assist members with questions and account inquiries to include, but not limited to: ordering statement copies, check copies, check orders, placing stop payments, disputing unauthorized transactions, tutorials on using electronic services, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Educational and Experience Requirement:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in financial institutions preferred but not required

Required Skills:

  • Ability to represent Service 1 FCU in a professional manner
  • Flexibility in work assignments
  • Ability to analyze and research information
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of credit union products and services
